Kids to Parks Day – City of North Port
May 21 @ 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

The North Port Parks & Recreation Department invites you to learn more about your local parks on Kids to Parks Day! This free event will take place on May 21 and will offer three different activities at three different times and locations throughout the day. From 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m., participants can enjoy donuts with us at the Garden of the Five Senses (4299 Pan American Blvd.). Next, stop by the George Mullen Activity Center (1602 Kramer Way) from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. to try archery. The final stop will be giant lawn games and field day activities at Blue Ridge Park (2155 Ridgewood Dr.) from 2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
“We wanted to provide the community with a variety of activities, so they can try all three, or just join us at the ones that their schedule allows,” said Laura Ansel, Marketing and Engagement Coordinator. “Kids to Parks Day is celebrated nationwide as a day of outdoor play for people of all ages.”
For more information about this event, contact the Department at 941-429-PARK(7275) and select option #2.
